About KNOT

A dedicated policy for this game

KNOTPrivacy policy

Effective · FlexiMax Interactive

Puzzle progress and reasoning check-ins stay on your device. Game Center, purchases, optional rewarded ads, and reminders have separate data uses described below.

This policy covers KNOT: Daily Mind Puzzles for iPhone and iPad, provided by FlexiMax Interactive, including development and test builds.

Your puzzles and reasoning check-ins

KNOT stores completed levels, stars, hints, rewards, streaks, daily results, settings, and reasoning check-ins on your device. Check-ins can include answers, accuracy, difficulty, moves, response times, and previous results. KNOT does not upload these detailed check-in records to a FlexiMax server.

The reasoning score is a game score, not a medical assessment or an IQ diagnosis. Local progress is kept separately for the guest player and connected Game Center profiles. This does not provide cloud-save synchronization. Apple device backups may include app data if you enable them.

Game Center

Connecting Game Center lets KNOT use your app-scoped player identifier to select your local profile and submit game scores to Apple’s leaderboards. Your Game Center display name, rank, and submitted scores can be visible to other players. Detailed reasoning trial history is not included in these score submissions. You can manage Game Center in your Apple device settings.

In-app purchases

Apple processes available purchases, such as Remove Ads and hint packs. KNOT receives verified transaction details to deliver the purchase, restore eligible entitlements, and account for refunds. An opaque account reference derived from your Game Center player identity associates purchases with the correct player. FlexiMax does not receive your full payment-card details.

Optional ads and privacy choices

KNOT uses Google AdMob when you choose an available rewarded-ad offer. It checks your purchase entitlement and Google’s consent status before requesting the ad. You can continue playing puzzles without watching an ad. Google’s consent service can also be contacted when you open advertising privacy choices.

Google may receive IP-derived approximate location, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions, and diagnostic or performance information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and maintain the service. Processing depends on your consent, device permissions, and service settings. Google test ads can also involve data processing.

Use Settings → Ad privacy choices to revisit available consent options. You can manage app tracking permissions in iOS Settings. Remove Ads stops rewarded-ad offers; it does not erase data previously processed by Google.

Optional reminders

Daily reminders require notification permission. KNOT stores your reminder preference and chosen time locally. The current build schedules reminders on the device and has no active FlexiMax reminder-server address. Registering for Apple push notifications can still obtain a device token from Apple, which the app keeps locally.

A build with a connected reminder service would send an installation identifier, push token, time zone, and chosen reminder time to that service. This policy will be updated before that service is enabled. You can turn reminders off in KNOT or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.

Keeping and deleting information

Use Settings → Erase local progress to reset the current player’s journey and check-ins on this device. Other local player profiles, purchase entitlements, and Game Center scores are separate. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading can preserve it. Backups and Apple-held records are managed separately through Apple.

Apple and Google apply their own retention policies to the information they process. For support messages or other information you send directly to FlexiMax, you can request access, correction, or deletion at the contact below.
